Profile

With over 20 years of professional photography experience, Robyn Klein Gecht is a freelance photographer and curator whose work captures the depth and complexity of the human experience. With both a BA from University of Wisconsin-Madison and certification in Digital Design from Parson’s School of Design, Robyn blends technical expertise with a unique creative vision. Her photographic style explores themes of hope, joy, peace, resilience and serenity. Her work offers a fresh perspective on the vibrant diverse culture in NYC. She has a keen eye for both the impermanent moments in nature and the rich, dynamic energy of urban life. Through her photography, she explores how light, time, and environment intersect to create unique, never-to-be-repeated moments—whether in the quiet elegance of a natural scene or the bustling streets of NYC. She enjoys capturing fleeting moments and draws inspiration from the impermanence of nature and explores how light and time converge in moments whose beauty can never be repeated.

A long-time member of the West Side Arts Coalition in NYC, Robyn has served as the organization’s webmaster for over a decade, helping to expand its online presence and support its artistic mission. She has exhibited her work for many years with the West Side Arts Coalition as well as in juried exhibitions, including with Professional Women Photographers in NYC. Currently Robyn’s work is being exhibited at the Pictor Gallery in NYC.

Through her lense, Robyn invites viewers to see the beauty in both the natural world and the cultural vibrancy of New York City, capturing moments that speak to the heart of both human experience and nature’s ever-changing rhythm.
